Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You praying for our country, and for Your work and Your workers, more than anything in the world right now, for nothing else will matter much, if more and more people forsake Your ways and forsake the tenets of our faith in You upon which this country was founded. If freedoms to reach others, to worship You and to enjoy all You have provided for us are gone, then we qucikly see how the main thing that matters is putting You first. As you have told us, if we seek You first, "all these things will be added unto you". Dear Father, I plead with You to speak to Your children, in whatever way You can, to get their attention to call them close to You. I pray we will now always seek You first.

I know that many, many people are praying and I keep encouraged by thinking of a time You, my Lord, tell about in The Holy Bible when Elijah thought he was all alone in his concerns and faith. You, dear Lord told him not to despair for You had "much people in this place". I am praying that silently, methodically and faithfully that many, many Christian people are fortifying themselves and putting on the whole armor of You, our God, and are standing at ready to take on the armies of evil that are poised to assail us and our nation. Only You, our dear Heavenly Father, can martial that army and cause us to win. I am praying to You dear Heavenly Father to send all the help You have, which is everything in all the universe, against this onslaught of evil here.

Praise You, for You loved us enough to sacrifice Your Only Son to save us from our sins. He now sits at Your right hand to make intercession for us and to plead for us as we pray and ask in His Name. How amazing that You, God of all that ever was, is and is to come, chose to adopt us into Your family. You have made us Your children and Jesus, the very Christ - YOUR ONLY SON - is our elder brother. He listens to us like a big brother who loves, watches over and cares for his little siblings! It is so wonderful to take a few moments to really drink in those facts.

Indeed we have sustenance that no one can see or touch and that NO ONE can ever take from us.

THANK YOU! PRAISE YOU O LORD and MARANATHA, LORD JESUS COME!!! Amen.
