ASK, ASK, ASK

I do not believe there is ever anything wrong in praying for anything if we follow the prayer with "if it is Your Will". After all, we know what we want, hope for and pray for all the time - that our loved ones be comfortable, safe and whole. That is asking for only the best for anyone we love. What we do not know is what is actually best in any situation. God is so much bigger than all our small thoughts and our requests, and He can see the whole picture as has been said many times.

As long as we search our hearts, pray for what we earnestly believe is best and that which we want, then that is our part of caring for anyone. We do the asking, the Lord takes a look at everything from His magnificent view of our lives and He does the answering. Sometimes He answers, Yes!, sometimes, wait a while and sometimes, No. In no way will He blame us, nor should we blame ourselves, when we pray for something in someone's best interest asking for His will to be done, for God is in control of the answers. He always has the perfect answer for us that in our narrow vision may not seem to be the one we wanted, but we can always count on its being the right answer. So ask, ask, ask and thank and praise the Lord that He can see the right answer to give us.
