Dear Fellow Believers and Americans, America
is in crisis - a crisis that will move us down a road of
tyranny and corruption if we don't stop it now. Our founding
fathers warned us a tyrannical and corrupt government would
result in the loss of the very freedoms our forefathers
so bravely and valiantly fought for.
It is possible this is happening because,
in the name of Tolerance, we have allowed the Name of God
to be slandered, removed from our schools and public places,
while permitting sin and evil, and ignoring the Word of
God which clearly teaches us how to live in peace and right
standing with our Lord.
It is disturbing that
our president refused participation in the National Day
of Prayer, yet later honored members of the Islamic Religion
by inviting them to visit the White House on one of their
holy days. He also wrongly stated that ours is not a Christian
nation.
The children of Israel went into bondage
many times because of their sin and rejection of God's laws.
When they repented and turned to God, He forgave them and
they walked together again. In one instance, when Israel
had backslidden, the Lord declared, "If my people who are
called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek
my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear
from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
2 Chron. 7:14. May we learn a lesson from their history.
Although the Lord was speaking to Israel, He is the same
Lord over all and His principals hold true today.
Our nation has been in steady downfall
a long time. We need not look far to find corruption, greed,
moral decay, and a continuous move away from the values
that made this country great. The principles upon which
this nation was founded are no longer our foundation. Consider
this quote from Ronald Reagan ... "If we ever forget that
we are one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone
under."
We must pray for our country and all in
authority and leadership and ask for forgiveness. We must
ask for wisdom for our leaders, a new heart toward the Lord
and His precepts in governing this nation. Let us also search
our own hearts, humble ourselves and commit to pray with
a fervent spirit, a pure heart and godly sorrow that leads
to repentance. No matter what His plans for our nation,
we can be 'in' this world, but not 'of' it ... and shielded
from the evil that surrounds us.
Until His will is revealed
for our nation in these days, we have a responsibility and
a privilege to pray for our country and our leaders. Please
join with our family and ask forgiveness and restoration
for ourselves and our leaders. Ask Him to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness and help us to stand firm for
what we know is right.
This
nation is Christian!
It was founded on Christian values, many that remain to
this day. God knows it - and in our heart, we know it too.
I believe God is waiting to hear from us.
Stand
up, men and women of America,
and be counted! Let your faith show!
Show
them that fear will NOT rule our lives!
We will speak up and watch over our freedoms!
We Put
our Trust in You, LORD!
