I pray for all the Christians in the armed forces, in our government and those that surround our president. I pray that they will be bold and courageous. I pray that the Lord will confound every evil effort and sow confusion in the plans.

I pray that the evil-doers will fall into disunity and argue among themselves and be disrupted. I pray for all those who are innocent in that they do not know the Lord and never have had the opportunity to learn about Him. I pray that as the Christians among the troops live and fight for what is right that those who do not know our Lord will come to know Him as they see the witness in the lives of fellow soldiers.

I pray that somehow, some way that the war will be ended soon and that when it is, there will be a peaceful time for the peoples who have so suffered. I pray that they, too, will see the witness of our Lord Jesus which they have seen in action there. I pray that there will not be left a stone unturned, so that we may rid the world of the evil of terror. I pray that the pending trial of the evil dictator Hussein is fast and thorough, so all the world can be sure he will not return to power ever again.

As in many times past, I pray for the soldiers who are left there that they fly their craft, sail their ships and march their miles under the banner of the living God with the flag of our dear United States and with all the others from other countries. If God be for us, who indeed can be against us? May the God of all the universe look out across the vast expanses and clear the paths for righteousness' sake and for the Glory of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the fatherhood of our God.

May many who do not know our Lord and are deceived have their eyes opened to see the gospel truth and turn from evil. This is spiritual warfare at its height. There are legions of evil spirits against us now; I pray for legions of angels to accompany us and that they will be visible to our enemies and strike a fear like none before. I pray for God's eyes to see the unseen evils and put in our hearts and minds what should be done in time to thwart any efforts to harm us.

God help us to know how to be prepared and to keep our families safe from harm. Never, though, do I give any credit to Satan above our Savior. He is stronger, mightier, larger and more powerful than a thousand Satans and more. Satan is persistent, but he will never win, because he has fooled his own self into thinking he can. He is beaten already; the battle was won on Calvary.

Our God is the Creator. If a vessel is broken, He can remake it. If a battle seems to be lost, He can turn it into victory. There is nothing ever thought of by evil men, nor by Satan himself that the Lord cannot handle. So, we must lift up our Lord before all men and keep our eye on the prize eternal life - our own, that of our friends and loved ones and the desire for it for all the lost souls in this world. That is the prize; that is the great spoils of battle in the spiritual realm. The battle facing the United States, and those who joined us in Iraq. was not just an armed invasion. It was and is the liberation of a country from a godless, evil tyrant who abused and tortured his own people while he and his lieutenants lavished on themselves the world's greatest wealth.

Meanwhile his people were screaming from pain, dying from lack of medical care and provisions, and the women were being used as throw-away amusements for evil men. Now the battle has expanded to be a war against evil. The numbers of evil men are astounding; nothing is sacred to this evil. Evil feeds on itself with more evil. A battle is necessary to stop this. Please dear Heavenly Father grant the strength, cunning and tenacity of a Joshua, Gideon, David and the mighty men of old who were led by the priests and went when the Lord said go and stopped when the Lord said stop. When the directions of our dear Father, were followed to the letter, victory was assured. I pray that we continue to seek His explicit directions. God bless everyone and may the Lord keep us under the wings of His angels and clothed in His love and righteousness with His whole armor upon us.

Read this and you will know how to be prepared for any future battles. How marvelous are these verses:

Ephesians 6:11-19 Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to withstand against the wiles of the devil, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore, take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth. and having on the breastplate of righteousness: and your feet shod with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace: above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
