America,
America, look at
your history:
From
foreign lands our
kinfolk
came
to seek out liberty.
Our
soldiers fought
and shed their blood
to
keep our nation
free;
left
religious persecution
to
follow Christ of
Calvary.
But
now we've come so
far away,
we
feel God's grace
no more.
Oh,
America, America,
on
God you've shut
the door.
Our
land's now torn
and bleeding
with
our unborn babies'
blood,
and
promiscuity reigns
as
we've turned away
from God.
Prayers
have been removed
from school
and
drugs have entered
in;
loving
homes have been
destroyed
by
alcohol and sin.
America
is ruled now,
not
by God, but worldly
pleasure.
Neglected
kids cast out like
trash
while
"things" became
your treasure.
America,
America, will it
take a revolution
for
Christians to proclaim
that
only Christ is our
solution?
The
battle that we're
raging
is
against depravity,
and
only Christ can
save us
and
set us truly free.
We
must reach the lost
for Jesus,
bring
revival to our land.
We
must cease discriminating
and
unite to take a
stand,
July
Fourth flags are
waving
as
a symbol that we're
free,
yet
the wooden cross
of Jesus
still
points us to liberty!
