July
4th means a celebration
of the freedom in
our land
That
was won for us by
others who died
fighting hand to
hand.
Yet
there's another
freedom much more
precious to each
one;
It
was by the blood
of Jesus that total
freedom was begun.

It
doesn't take our
fighting to be redeemed
by grace;
But
just trusting in
Lord Jesus
that brings victory
to the human race.
So
let the trumpets
blare out above
the flashing fireworks'
display.
This
July 4th I'm celebrating
freedom to worship
as I may.

I'll
not be bound by
man's law that says
in school I cannot
pray
Nor
let the freedoms
God has given be
totally snatched
away.
And
as long as His Word
is hidden safely
within my heart,
I'll
bow my head in public
to pray before each
meal starts.

I'll
also pray for restitution
of Christian values
in this land,
And
for God to judge
the masses who for
the devil seem to
stand.
For
without my affirmation
to the leaders of
today,
It's
the freedoms I most
cherish that will
quickly fade away.

Hear
the trumpet? It's
now sounding,
calling Christians
to stand fast
And
proclaim the Gospel
message until God
calls us home at
last.
Won't
you join the celebration?
Won't you take your
stand with me?
Oh,
America.. God's
calling. Bring back
religious liberty!

And ye shall know
the truth, and the
truth shall make
you free.
John
8:32 ...
Stand
fast therefore in
the liberty wherewith
Christ hath made
us free,
and be not entangled
again with the yoke
of bondage.
Galatians
5:1

Lord,
it's not just
a holiday
that we'll
lose if we
lose our freedom
... but a
way of life
for which
our forefathers
gallantly
fought ...
not just for
themselves
but for future
generations.
Give us wisdom
and courage,
Lord, so we
won't bring
shame to Your
name by failing
to stand up
and fight
for our religious
freedom again.
Amen.
