APPLE BUTTER BLESSINGS

A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. (Prov.12:14)

An apple is thirsty for water, knowing that the the amount of moisture it receives will critically affect the quantity and the quality of its fruit. The same can be said of us - the greater our desires to bear fruit that is eternal and abundant, the thirstier living water to our souls, cleansing us from our sin and giving life to those who drink it..

with using store bought applesauce!
The rest of the blessing is in its flavor..

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. allspice

pinch of ginger

pinch of cloves

Combine all the above ingredients into a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for one hour.

Cook and serve.

For a tasty treat, mix apple butter with sour cream
for a fruit salad dressing.
