I
wandered down the
unknown path
of
physical pain and
misery,
And
just when my hope
was fading,
God
sent an angel down
to me.
She
was a Watercolor
Angel and
soft
sunlight touched
her head.
She
carried something
in her hand
as
she approached my
bed.

It
was a message of
encouragement
to
keep holding on
and not despair.
My
reassurance that
God loved me
and
would keep me in
His care.
She
told me that this
trial I'm in
might
be difficult and
long,
But
with faith I'd see
God heal me
and
again I would be
strong.

Oh,
my Watercolor Angel,
with
your clear, transparent
face,
I
would delight to
focus on you
but
must instead embrace
God's grace.
So
I closed my eyes
and let her go..
to
vanish with my tears
like rain.
Then
as I prayed with
thankful heart,
I
felt my first relief
from pain.

As
I lay on my bed
of affliction,
new
hope surged within
my heart
For
the peace that passes
understanding
was
what she'd come
to impart.
No
matter how much
I am hurting,
God
gives me grace to
persevere
And
I know that He will
bear my pain
because
He is always here.

Someday
when I'm completely
healed,
maybe
God will again let
me see
A
vision of my Watercolor
Angel
so
I can thank her
properly.
But
if I don't have
that privilege,
even
then it will be
alright
For
comforting memories
will linger
of
the message God
sent tonight.

On
my bed I remember
you; I think of
you through the
watches of the night.
Because you are
my help, I sing
in the shadow of
your wings.
Psalm 63:6-7 (NIV)
It
is so hard when
we are used to being
healthy, to have
to endure sickness
even for a short
time. And when pain
lingers and our
body cries out for
relief, we sometimes
find it difficult
to face the challenges
that lie ahead.
So today, I'm sending
you a Watercolor
Angel, a symbol
of God's blessings
to encourage you
to keep trusting
in Him. for He will
send relief and
one morning you
will awaken with
a song of praise
on your lips and
a feeling of joy
in your heart...because
God is faithful...all
the time!!
