Patsy is a very dedicated Christian and has a sweet, sincere and generous spirit. She writes from her heart and believes what she writes. She has overcome trials and adversity and turned them into victory. One of the ways she has done so is to put her innermost feelings to pen and paper. She prayed long and worked hard toward the completion of her books, and gives thanks for the LORD's help in making it possible to finally see her books published.Her goal is to share through her books, her heart's message with all who are oppressed and seeking.

From Patsy's Pen ...

The following is what the LORD gave me as I began to type up my first Poem Book HE gave me to write on 1/21/1994 ... "God has opened up my mind and allowed these poems and thoughts to come out through my pen to all who would receive them.

I trust that you too, will share in the JOYS of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit that I have received from Him in writing these poems.

Of Jesus: (paraphrased) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to bring Good News to: the suffering and afflicted (oppressed by Satan and unbelievers. He has sent me to: comfort the broken hearted (those who have lost all hope) to announce liberty to captives (of their past) and to open the eyes of the spiritually blind. He has sent me to tell those who mourn because they are back-slidden and think they can't come back, that the time of God's favor to them has come (Please Come Back to God) and the day of His wrath to their enemies.

I begin by stating the reason for that which I am about to tell you about myself and that is: If there is one hurting soul out there, who is weeping or under great depression or cannot forgive themselves or thinks (has been deceived by Satan into thinking) that they have gone too far and God can never use them for His Glory because of their past or because they are crippled - or - if even one person feels God doesn't Love them like He does others (for I have felt this way in the past), then what I tell you in my poems will be well worth that one soul, coming or returning to Jesus Christ.

Each poem the Lord has given me is a piece of my life where Christ has either operated and cut from me much dross or brought lasting peace, joy, comfort, contentment, healing, discipline, and love to my very heart, soul, and spirit. I urge and encourage you to read the Scriptures that go along with some of my poems for they will deepen your love for our Savior and Friend, Jesus Christ.
