THANKSGIVING
DAY!
Not
just a day to eat turkey and all the trimmings!
Not
just a day to watch football all day!
Not
just a day to gather together! (But that
part is nice!)
But
a day to GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD!!
Why?
BECAUSE:
In
His Love He created us
In
His Love He saved us
In
His Love He has kept us
In
His Love He is kind
In
His Love He is merciful
In
His Love He is good
In
His Love He is righteous toward us
In
His Love His thoughts for us are good
In
His Love He delights in us
In His Love He hears
us when we call
In
His Love we dwell in His presence
In
His Love we have a godly heritage
In
His Love He strengthens us
In
His Love He goes before us
In
His Love He goes behind us
In
His Love He is our sun and shield
In
His Love He comforts us
In
His Love He chooses us
In
His Love He understands us
In
His Love He is patient with us
In His Love He deals
bountifully with us
In
His Love He remembers not our sins
In
His Love He satisfies our soul
In
His Love He is our joy
In
His Love He is our wisdom
In
His Love He is our council
In
His Love He is our high tower
In
His Love He is our faith
In
His Love He is our power
In
His Love He sent Jesus for us
In
His Love He will send Jesus again!

Heavenly Father (ABBA)
We
sincerely ask that You accept the
word of thanks from our hearts.
Let our grateful spirits be pleasing
unto You! We rejoice and are overwhelmed
with thanks for all You have done
in Your Great Love toward us! We
do not take for granted all Your
Blessings! We humbly acknowledge
that all we have has come from You,
even our very breath. You have blessed
us abundantly in all things!
Every
moment we live is life given to
us to love and be loved by You,
and to love each other! We thank
You for the precious fellowship
of our brethren in Your eternal
family! We thank you for our loved
ones, and we thank you even for
our enemies, for by doing so, we
obey You. We thank you for our spiritual
leaders who are given to us for
our good.
We
thank You for the privilege of living
free in a democracy! We thank You
for having prospered our land! We
thank You for the privilege
to worship You and serve You in
freedom and peace!
We thank You
for Your Promise of Redemption and
thank You that You will not forget
us - Ever, and will return to keep
us forever with You for eternity!
We humbly GIVE
THANKS TO YOU ABBA FATHER! May
this Thanksgiving Day be a reminder
of YOU and Why we are thankful!
May our hearts be filled with peace
and contentment and gratitude for
YOU!
