SIMPLY
JESUS

He took upon Himself our
pain
Brought on by our own deeds and sins
He will cleanse us through and through
With the gift of His life we can begin
anew.
All we need is simply Jesus.
He took the blows of sword,
flogging and spear
He suffered the filth of spit upon his
face,
Felt the mocking thorny crown dig into
his flesh
He bore all of it for us; He took our
place
So that all we need is simply Jesus.
When He died for the love
of us He had in His heart
He made of His suffering a beautiful,
glorious thing
He died longing for us to love Him in
a deep abiding way
He poured out His blood for us so we can
say
All we need is simply Jesus.
Our needs, we think, are
many in this world
There are new inventions to see, fascinate
and use
There are new ways to do things, new things
to enjoy
Satan tries to make us dependent, to distract
and annoy.
But, all we need is simply Jesus
Jesus will remove our
sins and take them away
He will return to us, bringing the gift
of salvation,
His purity for our hearts and His Spirit
to guide us
All of it is free, all we need to do is
ask and believe.
For, all we need is simply Jesus.

The
gospel always has been so simple
that even the lowliest person,
even a child could understand
it. People have alone, with the
help of Satan, made it complicated.
He uses our human nature of feeling
like we have to do something to
earn it to complicate the simple
message of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The simple message "For God
so loved the world that He gave
His Only Begotten Son that whosover
believes in Him shall not perish
but have everlasting life";
John 3:16 from The Holy Bible,
says it all. If one comes humbly
to pray to God the Father, believing
that Jesus died for their sins,
and confesses his sins, then our
God is faithful and just to save
that soul and cleanse it from
all unrighteousness. In that He
presents the gift of eternal life.
From that point on one can pray
directly to God the Father in
Jesus' name and God will hear
that prayer. The only prayer that
God will hear from one who is
not saved by the blood of Jesus
Christ is the prayer that asks
Him to save their soul and forgive
their sins in the name of Jesus
Christ. The only way to salvation
is through Jesus Christ. It is
as the old saying goes, Jesus
plus nothing. Complete confession
and a plea for forgiveness of
ones sins and the accepting of
His free gift is the essence of
why on Easter Sunday we can celebrate
and rejoice.
Please
consider what I have said. If
you are unsure about your salvation,
please do not put off going to
the Lord in prayer wherever you
are. Do it right now. What a simple
thing to do for such a great eternal
gift. I pray that you will not
delay. It is the difference between
an eternal death and eternal life,
It is the difference between multiplied
joys in this life and a life here
of many needless pains and sufferings
with no support from His Spirit
living in you and not having a
big family - His Church - the
saved of the Lord. God bless you
one and all! I pray that this
Easter you will know deep in your
hearts our living Savior and Lord.
