PRICELESS GIFT

In
this season of remembrance
Of
our Savior's sacrifice
When
His robe of simple weaving
Was
yet gambled for - with dice

In
my mind - I can't imagine
All
the cruelest pain He bore
From
the crown of thorns presented
And
the whip - His back did score

Stained
with blood, the cross He carried
And
the burdens He did take
Were
the sins of those who mocked Him.
And
the sacrifice He'd make

As
they kicked, and beat and mocked Him
I
now cry - as though 'twas I
That
stood watching as they nailed Him
To
the cross where He would die

For
it is MY SIN - He paid for
And
MY LIFE that He did change
With
His death and RESURRECTION
He
my future did arrange

THANK
YOU LORD for love unending
For
yet hope in eternity
May
I ever love and serve You
And
Your Son - who died for me.
