On Wednesday, Sept
10, Marie Blanks Alexander, age 68, went home to be with her
Lord. I had prepared this bio page for her several months
back and since then she has contributed so much to my online
ministry. And she had been so faithful to e-mail frequent
messages of cheer and new verses that she'd written. I always
looked forward to opening mail from her ... such joy in the
Lord! We became friends and she meant a great deal to me.
I miss her, and my heart is sad, but joyous too, because I
know that she's at home in heaven. She was a light to us for
a time and that light did not go out, rather shines all the
more brightly now! She will be remembered by her family with
love, and rememebered here at this web site for her precious
poems and words of inspiration!
Sincerely,
Genelle

Let me introduce you to Marie Alexander.
She has been gracious enough to
share much of her material
with me to use on this site. She
has written to me many times,
always with an excitement and exuberance
that reflects her
joy and praise of the Lord for
giving her new inspiration.
I always hear her heart in her
words. Marie is deaf but hears
golden sounds in the Whisper of
the Holy Sprit. She was a
bit shy about writing about herself
as most of us are, but she
wrote me the following note when
I requested her to do that
for a series of pages I'll be doing
for those artists who will
be contributing several works for
my theme pages.
Sincerely,
Genelle
Now, a few words from Marie:

Dear Genelle,
It seems strange to
talk of myself, I will just say I love writing and sharing
my thoughts through poetry. It has been a part of me as far
back as I can remember I never considered it a talent , But
GOD opened doors for me when I lost my hearing - inspiring
me to write of His love - His Power and presence in my life.
It isn't hard to do for constantly I see His works - His caring
, and His miracles. The very beauty of His world and creations
make my heart sing - and I want to ever tell the world of
His goodness to me, His watchful care over me and mine - His
answer to prayers is my strength. I do not question his judgment
in my hearing loss for it has not changed His blessing toward
me - perhaps even increasing them. May I ever serve Him and
for His glory.

I am a mother -
a grandmother - and a great-grandmother - and my cup runneth
over with Joy! God is good - Praise His Holy Name!
Love, Marie

Marie was born to Charlie
